We ask God to heal us. We ask God to free us. But sometimes God begins putting His finger on the very places we keep avoiding. Because healing requires honesty. Real honesty. Not church answers. Not what sounds spiritual. This is not a sprint. This is a process. And God cannot heal what we refuse to confront.

You don’t really come to know God by what you hear. You come to know Him by what you walk through with Him. Because there are some things about God you will never understand sitting in comfort. You understand them in the process. In the pressure. In the places where you have to trust Him beyond what you feel. This is not a sprint. This is a process. There was a place in my life where I knew God was calling me forward, but I could still feel the weight of what I had been through. Not because I wanted to carry it, but because it does not always leave just because you decide it should. And I had to come to a real place with God. A place where I realized I could not keep revisiting what broke me and still fully walk in what He was calling me to. Something had to be released. Because the truth is, you cannot carry both.
