There are times when we ask God to change what is happening around us, and He responds by dealing with what is happening within us. We pray about the fruit. God starts talking about the root. We ask Him to fix the relationship, change the situation, open the door, close the door, remove the struggle, or stop the cycle. Yet often His response is not to immediately change what is around us. His response is to deal with what is producing what we keep seeing. That can be frustrat

We ask God to heal us. We ask God to free us. But sometimes God begins putting His finger on the very places we keep avoiding. Because healing requires honesty. Real honesty. Not church answers. Not what sounds spiritual. This is not a sprint. This is a process. And God cannot heal what we refuse to confront.
